In a small bowl, blend together the softened butter, minced garlic, and dried basil until evenly combined.

Spread the prepared garlic basil butter mixture on one side of each slice of Italian bread. Sprinkle 1/2 tablespoon of grated Parmesan cheese onto the buttered side of each slice and gently press it into the butter.

Bring a pot of salted water to a boil over high heat. Add angel hair pasta and cook, uncovered, until al dente according to package instructions, about 3-4 minutes. Drain thoroughly.

Transfer drained pasta to a bowl and toss with bolognese sauce until evenly coated.

Place one slice of garlic buttered bread on a work surface, buttered side facing down. Place 3 slices mozzarella cheese evenly on the bread. Evenly distribute the sauced pasta over the cheese. Top the pasta layer with the remaining 3 slices of mozzarella. Place the second slice of bread on top, buttered side facing up.

Heat a large skillet over medium-low heat. Carefully set the assembled sandwich in the skillet, cover with a lid, and cook without moving until the underside is golden brown, approximately 5-6 minutes. Flip the sandwich gently, cover again, and toast the second side until golden. Remove from heat.
