Cheesy Garlic Shrimp (Printable Version)

# What You'll Need:

→ Marinade

01 - 4 smashed or minced garlic cloves
02 - 4 tablespoons of premium extra virgin olive oil
03 - 1/2 teaspoon of dried basil leaves
04 - 1/2 teaspoon of dried oregano flakes
05 - Fresh lemon zest from a whole lemon
06 - 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
07 - 1/4 teaspoon of coarse ground black pepper

→ Main Ingredients

08 - 2 pounds of cleaned, shell-removed shrimp
09 - 2 tablespoons of snipped fresh Italian parsley for topping
10 - 1/2 cup freshly shredded Parmesan cheese

# Preparation Steps:

01 - Combine oil, garlic, lemon zest and all seasonings in a spacious glass or plastic container. Add shrimp and toss till they're fully coated. Cover with plastic wrap and stick in the fridge for 1-3 hours.
02 - Heat your oven to 400°F. Mix the shrimp with Parmesan cheese right in the marinade bowl.
03 - Place shrimp in a single layer on a 13x9 glass dish or similar baking sheet. Cook them about 8 minutes until they turn pink and are done throughout.
04 - Scatter fresh parsley over the hot shrimp and add a light drizzle of olive oil before you serve them.

# Additional Tips:

01 - Frozen shrimp works fine too, just let it thaw in your fridge the night before cooking.
