Buttery White Choc Squares (Printable Version)

# What You'll Need:

→ Base

01 - Unsalted butter (225g/1 cup, melted and cooled down)
02 - Brown or demerara sugar (340g/1¾ cups)
03 - Eggs (2)
04 - Regular flour (285g/2 cups)

→ Mix-ins

05 - White chocolate morsels (100g/½ cup)

# Preparation Steps:

01 - Warm up your oven to 180°C/356°F and put parchment paper in a 9-inch square pan
02 - Beat the sugar and eggs together in a bowl until they're well combined
03 - Drizzle the cooled melted butter into your egg mix while continuously stirring
04 - Gently mix in flour until it's all combined – don't worry, the batter will get quite thick
05 - Add white chocolate morsels and stir until they're spread throughout the mixture
06 - Dump the batter into your lined pan, flatten the top, maybe add some sea salt if you want, and bake about 25 minutes until the sides set and top turns slightly golden
07 - Let it cool all the way in the pan before taking it out and cutting into 9 pieces

# Additional Tips:

01 - An 8-inch pan makes thicker treats that need more time in the oven
02 - Don't stir too much after adding flour or you'll get heavy blondies
03 - Don't panic about the thick batter – it's supposed to be that way for chewiness
04 - You really need to let these cool fully before cutting them up
