Mix cream cheese with sugar, then beat in the egg yolk until smooth.

Turn oven on to 350°F. Prep baking trays with a layer of grease. Pull apart the crescent dough into 16 pieces and spread them on the trays.

Spoon 1 tablespoon of the cream mixture near the base of the triangle. Add 1 tablespoon of cherry filling. Roll up the dough, covering the filling. Pinch loose ends underneath and brush with whipped egg white.

Bake for around 15-20 minutes or until the tops are golden.
