# What You'll Need:

01 - 1 cup softened butter.
02 - 1½ cups confectioners' sugar.
03 - 1 large egg at room temp.

09 - 2½ cups confectioners' sugar for the topping.
10 - 1¼ tablespoons meringue powder.
11 - 3-4 tablespoons slightly warm water.
12 - ¼-1 teaspoon clear vanilla flavoring.
13 - Red, green and blue gel colorings.

# Preparation Steps:

01 - Whip the butter with sugar till light and airy. Drop in the egg and vanilla. Blend in your sifted dry stuff until everything's mixed well.
02 - Split the dough, make 2 flat discs and wrap them up. Stick in the fridge for half an hour.
03 - Flatten dough to ¼ inch, stamp out your shapes. Pop in a 350°F oven for about 9-10 minutes until you see golden edges.
04 - Mix your sugar, meringue stuff, water and vanilla until it's runny enough to drizzle nicely.
05 - Split your icing into bowls, add colors and swirl with a pick. Dunk cookies face down, let them drip. They'll need 2 hours to set up.
