Cheesy Italian Sub Sandwiches (Printable Version)

# What You'll Need:

→ Bread

01 - 4 French bread rolls or submarine rolls

→ Sauce

02 - 1 cup pizza sauce

→ Toppings

03 - 1 cup pepperoni slices
04 - 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
05 - 1 cup sliced bell peppers
06 - 1/2 cup sliced onions
07 - 2 tablespoons olive oil
08 - Salt and pepper to taste
09 - 1 teaspoon oregano

# Preparation Steps:

01 - Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Slice the sub rolls lengthwise without cutting all the way through, leaving a hinge.
02 - Spread pizza sauce evenly on both sides of the opened sub rolls.
03 - Distribute shredded mozzarella cheese generously over the sauce.
04 - Layer pepperoni, bell peppers, onions and other toppings over the cheese. Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt, pepper and oregano.
05 - Place the assembled subs on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the bread is lightly toasted.
06 - Remove from the oven and let cool for 2 minutes before serving.
