Heat your oven to 425°F. Put rice evenly in a square dish for baking.

Dump the beef broth and French onion soup onto the rice.

Scatter butter pieces on top. If you want, sprinkle some black pepper.

Wrap with foil and stick in oven for 25 minutes.

Take off foil and cook another 25 minutes. Sit it aside before you eat.
