02 - 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
03 - 3 cloves garlic, minced
04 - 16 ounces cremini mushrooms, thinly sliced
05 - 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
06 - 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
07 - Kosher salt, to taste
08 - Freshly ground black pepper, to taste

→ For assembly

09 - 1/4 cup yellow cornmeal
10 - 1 pound pizza dough, homemade or store-bought
11 - 8 ounces Wisconsin fresh mozzarella cheese, sliced
12 - 1 cup Wisconsin ricotta cheese

# Preparation Steps:

01 - Preheat the oven to 450°F. Lightly brush a baking sheet or pizza pan with olive oil.
02 - Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté, stirring frequently, until fragrant, about 1 to 2 minutes.
03 - Add sliced cremini mushrooms, dried thyme, and dried oregano to the skillet. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the mushrooms are tender and browned, about 5 to 6 minutes. Season with kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste.
04 - On a surface sprinkled with yellow cornmeal, roll out the pizza dough into a 12-inch round. Transfer it to the prepared baking sheet or pizza pan.
05 - Top the rolled-out dough evenly with sliced mozzarella cheese, dollops of ricotta, and sautéed mushrooms.
06 - Place the pizza in the oven and bake for 15 to 20 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheeses are melted.
07 - Slice and serve immediately while hot.

# Supplementary Details:

01 - Blot excess moisture from the mushrooms after cooking to prevent a soggy crust.
