Spread the butter evenly over one side of each slice of Italian bread.

Heat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat.

Place one slice of the buttered bread, butter side down, onto the heated skillet. Lay mozzarella cheese over the bread, followed by provolone cheese.

Layer both slices of deli ham and both slices of salami over the cheeses.

Evenly spread mayonnaise on one side and Dijon mustard on the other side of the remaining slice of bread.

Place the prepared bread slice with mayonnaise side down over the meats. Press gently with a spatula.

Cook for 3 to 4 minutes until the bottom slice of bread is golden brown and crisp.

Carefully flip the sandwich with a spatula. Cook for another 3 to 4 minutes until the second side is golden brown and the cheeses are melted.

Remove the sandwich from the skillet. Sprinkle dried oregano and garlic powder over the top. Slice in half diagonally and serve immediately.
