# What You'll Need:

01 - One 4-4.5 lb trimmed and tied beef tenderloin from the center cut.
02 - Two teaspoons of coarse kosher salt.
03 - A teaspoon of cracked black pepper.
04 - Two tbsp of avocado cooking oil.
05 - Six tbsp of room temperature butter.
06 - Six cloves of finely minced garlic.
07 - A teaspoon of chopped fresh rosemary.
08 - A teaspoon of stripped fresh thyme leaves, chopped fine.

# Preparation Steps:

01 - Let beef sit out for 1-2 hours until it reaches room temp. Combine the soft butter with chopped herbs and minced garlic.
02 - Get your oven hot at 425°F. Wipe the meat dry with paper towels, then rub with salt and pepper mix.
03 - Get all sides of the tenderloin golden brown in hot oil, taking about 10 minutes altogether.
04 - Smear the garlic-herb butter all over the top of your seared beef.
05 - Pop it in the oven for 15-20 minutes until you reach the doneness you want.
06 - Give it 10-15 minutes to rest before you cut off the twine and slice it up.
