Cookie Frosting Mix (Printable Version)

# What You'll Need:

01 - 4 cups (480g) confectioners' sugar
02 - 5-6 tbsp whole milk (75-90ml)
03 - 4 tsp light corn syrup
04 - 1 tsp pure clear vanilla extract
05 - Any food coloring you like (if wanted)

# Preparation Steps:

01 - Stir together the confectioners' sugar, 5 tbsp milk, corn syrup and vanilla until it's all smooth
02 - Slowly pour in milk until you see a stream that stays visible for 3-4 seconds. Take out a third for your borders
03 - Add extra milk to your leftover icing until it runs back easily when drizzled into the bowl
04 - Drop in food coloring to both batches if you want some pretty hues
05 - Draw the edges first, let them set a bit, then fill the middle. Push icing into corners with a toothpick
06 - Don't stack your cookies until they've dried completely, about 20-24 hours

01 - You'll get around 1 3/4 cups total
02 - You can store it in the fridge if made early
03 - The corn syrup makes your icing nice and shiny
