Sweet Cinnamon Bread (Printable Version)

# What You'll Need:

01 - 2 cups (250g) plain flour.
02 - 1 1/2 cups (300g) white sugar.
03 - 2 teaspoons rising powder.
04 - 1/2 teaspoon fine salt.
05 - 1 1/4 cups (306g) full-fat milk.
06 - 1 large egg, at room temp.
07 - 2 tablespoons sweet cream butter, melted.
08 - 1 tablespoon pure vanilla.
09 - 1/4 cup (57g) sweet cream butter, melted (for outside layer).
10 - 1/2 cup (100g) white sugar (for outside layer).
11 - 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon.
12 - 1/2 teaspoon freshly grated nutmeg.

# Preparation Steps:

01 - Warm your oven to 350°F. Give your 8.5x4.5-inch loaf pan a good spray with cooking oil.
02 - In a big bowl, throw together your flour, sugar, rising powder and salt.
03 - In another bowl, beat up your milk, egg, melted butter and vanilla.
04 - Pour the wet stuff into the dry stuff and stir just enough to blend. Don't go crazy mixing it all up.
05 - Fill your pan with the batter and let it bake for 60-70 minutes. It's done when a toothpick stuck in comes out with just a few crumbs.
06 - Let it cool for 10 minutes, pop it out of the pan, brush with melted butter and roll in your sugar and spice mix.

# Additional Tips:

01 - Gentle mixing keeps it tender.
02 - Add the sweet coating while still warm for best sticking.
03 - Leftover sugar mix can be kept for later use.
