Strawberry Cream Hearts (Printable Version)

# What You'll Need:

→ Pastry

01 - 1-2 sheets of puff pastry that's both gluten-free and vegan
02 - Caster sugar to sprinkle on top
03 - 4 tablespoons of plant-based milk

→ Filling

04 - Fresh strawberries
05 - 130g of non-dairy cream cheese
06 - 15g of regular or gluten-free flour
07 - 15g of fine caster sugar

# Preparation Steps:

01 - Get your oven ready by setting it to 180°C (fan). Use greaseproof paper to line two baking trays.
02 - Roll the pastry out, smooth any creases, cut it into heart shapes, then press smaller heart outlines into the middle.
03 - Combine the cream cheese, sugar, and flour until the mixture is nice and thick. Put it into a piping bag.
04 - Add the filling to the pastry hearts with the piping bag, place strawberry slices on top, brush the edges with dairy-free milk, and sprinkle with sugar.
05 - Pop them in the oven for 10-15 minutes until golden and flaky. Let them cool a bit, then dust with icing sugar before enjoying.
