Spicy Salmon Fish Tacos (Printable Version)

# What You'll Need:

→ Seasoning Mix

01 - 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
02 - 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
03 - 1/4 teaspoon ground cumin
04 - 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
05 - 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
06 - 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
07 - 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper

→ Main Ingredients

08 - 4 small tortillas (fajita size)
09 - 2 cups pre-shredded coleslaw mix
10 - 10 ounces salmon filet
11 - 1 cup diced cherry tomatoes
12 - 1 tablespoon olive oil
13 - 1/2 cup crumbled feta

→ Zesty Mayo

14 - 1 tablespoon hot sauce
15 - Salt, to your liking
16 - 1/4 cup mayo
17 - 1 teaspoon lime juice (freshly squeezed)

# Preparation Steps:

01 - Combine all the spice mix ingredients in a bowl. Coat the salmon flesh evenly (if skinless, season both sides). Add some olive oil on top and wait 10 minutes before cooking.
02 - In a heated non-stick pan with oil, cook salmon flesh side down for about 3 minutes. Flip it over to finish for another 2-3 minutes, depending on how you like it cooked.
03 - Set salmon aside for 4-5 minutes to cool slightly, then break it into smaller pieces with a fork.
04 - Stir lime juice, hot sauce, and mayo in a small bowl. Sprinkle a bit of salt until it tastes just right.
05 - Lightly warm up the tortillas. Add the salmon chunks, coleslaw, tomatoes, feta, and drizzle some spicy mayo over it all.

# Additional Tips:

01 - Tortillas for fajitas are usually 4.5-6.5 inches wide.
02 - Shredded greens like cabbage can replace coleslaw mix.
03 - Extras like cilantro, avocado, green onions, pickled onions, or jalapeños work great here.
