Spicy Chicken Mushroom Mix (Printable Version)

# What You'll Need:

→ Poultry

01 - 2 skinless chicken breasts, sliced into thin strips
02 - 1 tsp common salt
03 - 1 tbsp corn starch powder
04 - 1/2 tsp ground black pepper, fresh

→ Plant Foods

05 - 1 medium onion, cut into slices
06 - 8 ounces sliced mushrooms, button or shiitake varieties
07 - 1 sliced bell pepper, red or green type
08 - 2 chopped green onions, add as garnish if wanted
09 - 3 garlic cloves, chopped finely

→ Liquid Mix

10 - 1 tbsp sauce from oysters
11 - 1 tbsp sauce made of soy
12 - 1 tsp fresh ground black pepper
13 - 1 tsp sweet honey
14 - 1/2 tsp rice-based vinegar
15 - 2 tbsp oil for cooking, divided in half

# Preparation Steps:

01 - Mix your thin chicken strips with salt, corn starch, and black pepper. Make sure they're all covered well.
02 - Heat a large pan on medium-high. Pour half the oil in and cook chicken about 4-5 minutes until it browns a bit. Put it on a plate after.
03 - In the same pan, use leftover oil to cook onion and bell pepper for 2-3 minutes. Throw in mushrooms and garlic, then keep cooking another 2-3 minutes.
04 - Stir soy sauce, oyster sauce, rice vinegar, honey and black pepper together until they blend well.
05 - Add your sauce to the vegetables, then toss the chicken back in. Mix it all up until everything's warm and coated, taking about 1-2 minutes.
06 - Sprinkle green onions on top if you want, and serve while hot with pasta or fluffy rice.
