# Needed Ingredients:

01 - Soft Unsalted Butter from Challenge brand (1 cup/226g).
02 - Confectioners sugar (1/2 cup/57g).
03 - Pure vanilla (1 teaspoon).
04 - Table salt (1/2 teaspoon).
05 - Cinnamon powder (1 teaspoon).
06 - Ginger powder (1 teaspoon).
07 - Freshly ground nutmeg (1/2 teaspoon).
08 - Allspice powder (1/4 teaspoon).
09 - Powdered cloves (1/4 teaspoon).
10 - Dark molasses (1 tablespoon).
11 - Plain flour (2 1/4 cups/279g).
12 - Extra confectioners sugar for coating.

# Preparation Steps:

01 - Heat your oven to 350°F. Put parchment on your cookie trays.
02 - Whip the butter till it's light and airy, roughly 20 seconds. Throw in the sugar, vanilla, salt, all the spices, and that spoonful of molasses until everything's combined.
03 - Add your flour and mix everything together. Don't worry when it looks too dry at first, just keep going until it sticks together properly.
04 - Drop tablespoon-sized chunks of dough onto your lined trays.
05 - Pop in the oven for 10-12 minutes until you see a slight brown color on the bottom.
06 - Let them cool a bit, then coat the warm cookies with confectioners sugar. After they've cooled completely, give them another sugar coating.
