Crumble and brown the sausage in a big skillet on medium heat till fully cooked. Take it out and dab away extra fat.

Put the sausage back in the pan, sprinkle flour over it and mix well to cover all pieces.

Slowly pour in milk while stirring on medium heat until it thickens up how you want it.

Throw in some salt, pepper, and a bit of cayenne or red pepper flakes if you want it spicy.
