In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, ricotta cheese, chopped spinach, breadcrumbs, and egg. Mix gently until fully incorporated but do not overwork.

Using damp hands, shape the mixture into golf ball-sized meatballs and place evenly in the prepared baking dish.

Bake the meatballs in the preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.

While the meatballs bake, heat a saucepan over medium heat. Add heavy cream and bring just to a simmer. Stir in minced garlic, Parmesan cheese, and Italian seasoning. Continue stirring until cheese melts and sauce slightly thickens.

Add additional chopped spinach to the sauce if desired, cooking until wilted.

Transfer baked meatballs to a serving platter. Spoon spinach Alfredo sauce over the top and garnish with fresh chopped parsley or basil.
