Start by boiling water, then toss in your tea bags and spices. Let it cook for 5 minutes to bring out the flavors.

Take it off the heat, add in honey and vanilla, and stir everything well. Pull out the tea bags and vanilla pod if used.

Bring the tea mixture to room temperature. If you're in a hurry, stick it in an ice bath to chill faster.

Froth the milk with a whisk, frother, or a sealed jar. You can heat it slightly and whisk if that’s easier.

Drop some ice into a glass, pour the cooled tea until it’s 2/3 full, then finish with the frothed milk. Add vanilla now if you're using extract instead of a bean.
