Easy Iced Chai Latte (Printable Version)

# What You'll Need:

→ Liquid Base

01 - 2 black tea bags, like Darjeeling or Assam
02 - 2 cups of water

→ Flavorful Spices

03 - 1/4 teaspoon powdered ginger
04 - 1 teaspoon cinnamon powder
05 - 1/4 teaspoon clove powder
06 - 1/2 teaspoon cardamom powder

→ Final Touches

07 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract or 1 vanilla bean
08 - 1 cup of milk (nut, soy, or regular)
09 - 2 spoonfuls of honey
10 - Ice cubes for serving

# Preparation Steps:

01 - Start by boiling water, then toss in your tea bags and spices. Let it cook for 5 minutes to bring out the flavors.
02 - Take it off the heat, add in honey and vanilla, and stir everything well. Pull out the tea bags and vanilla pod if used.
03 - Bring the tea mixture to room temperature. If you're in a hurry, stick it in an ice bath to chill faster.
04 - Froth the milk with a whisk, frother, or a sealed jar. You can heat it slightly and whisk if that’s easier.
05 - Drop some ice into a glass, pour the cooled tea until it’s 2/3 full, then finish with the frothed milk. Add vanilla now if you're using extract instead of a bean.

# Additional Tips:

01 - Will stay fresh in the fridge for up to 3 days.
02 - Feel free to adjust the spice amounts to your liking.
