Easy Cinnamon Rolls (Printable Version)

# What You'll Need:

→ Dough

01 - 1/4 cup white sugar
02 - 4 cups plain flour
03 - 2 teaspoons yeast (active dry)
04 - 2 large eggs
05 - 1 teaspoon table salt
06 - 1 cup milk, warmed to about 110°F
07 - 2 teaspoons vanilla flavoring
08 - 1/2 cup melted butter (unsalted)

→ Topping

09 - 1 teaspoon cinnamon (ground)
10 - 1/4 cup white sugar
11 - 1 tablespoon butter, melted (for brushing)

# Preparation Steps:

01 - In a big bowl, stir together the warm milk, white sugar, and yeast. Leave it alone for 5-10 minutes till it gets foamy. Toss in the butter, vanilla, eggs, and salt. Add the flour bit by bit until the dough is soft.
02 - Dust a surface with flour and knead the dough for about 8-10 minutes till it's smooth and stretchy. Pop it into a greased bowl, cover it up, and let it rest for 1-2 hours so it can puff up, doubling in size.
03 - Flatten the dough into a rectangle, about 1/4 inch thick. Spread melted butter on top and sprinkle over the cinnamon-sugar mix. Roll it tightly like a log, then slice it into 12 even pieces.
04 - Grease a baking dish and place the rolls inside. Cover them and let them sit another 30-45 minutes. Bake at 350°F for 20-25 minutes until golden brown. Brush butter on while still warm.

# Additional Tips:

01 - Feel free to drizzle a sweet glaze or sprinkle powdered sugar on top before serving.
02 - Store leftovers in a sealed container to keep them fresh for several days.
