In a big bowl, stir together the warm milk, white sugar, and yeast. Leave it alone for 5-10 minutes till it gets foamy. Toss in the butter, vanilla, eggs, and salt. Add the flour bit by bit until the dough is soft.

Dust a surface with flour and knead the dough for about 8-10 minutes till it's smooth and stretchy. Pop it into a greased bowl, cover it up, and let it rest for 1-2 hours so it can puff up, doubling in size.

Flatten the dough into a rectangle, about 1/4 inch thick. Spread melted butter on top and sprinkle over the cinnamon-sugar mix. Roll it tightly like a log, then slice it into 12 even pieces.

Grease a baking dish and place the rolls inside. Cover them and let them sit another 30-45 minutes. Bake at 350°F for 20-25 minutes until golden brown. Brush butter on while still warm.
