Preheat oven to 350°F (177°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Place the Brie cheese wheel on the prepared sheet and bake for 15 to 20 minutes, until softened but not liquefied.

In a bowl, combine red pepper jam with 2 tablespoons hot water. Stir, adding more water as needed, until a pourable consistency is achieved. Draw the mixture into a clean syringe if desired.

Carefully transfer the baked Brie with parchment to a serving platter. Spoon pepper jam over the top, letting it drip down the sides for a 'bloody' effect. Sprinkle flaky salt over the jam if desired.

Place the pepper jam-filled syringe into the center of the Brie or on the side. Present with warmed baguette slices.
