Easter Chocolate Nests (Printable Version)

# What You'll Need:

→ Base

01 - 6-8 whole Shredded Wheat biscuits, broken up
02 - 100g butter, unsalted
03 - 200g dark chocolate, chopped small
04 - 200g milk chocolate, broken into pieces
05 - 100g golden syrup

→ Topping

06 - 100-200g of mini Easter candy eggs

# Preparation Steps:

01 - Take the Shredded Wheat and crumble it into tiny pieces in a big bowl. Leave it for later.
02 - In a pan over gentle heat, stir the butter with the golden syrup until the butter’s fully melted. Once off the heat, toss in the milk and dark chocolate bits, mixing till it’s silky smooth.
03 - Pour the melted chocolate blend over the crumbled Shredded Wheat. Stir it all up until everything is evenly coated.
04 - Scoop the mix using spoons or a cookie/ice cream scoop and plop it onto a baking sheet lined with parchment. Top each one with three candy eggs.
05 - Pop the tray into the fridge until the nests are firm and ready to eat.

# Additional Tips:

01 - You can stick with just dark chocolate (350g) or milk only (500g).
02 - You can swap Shredded Wheat for 80-100g of any cereal you like.
03 - Keep these in an airtight container, and they’ll last over a week.
04 - White chocolate doesn’t work well when mixed with butter and syrup.
