03 - Continue to cook and stir the sauce until thickened, coating the back of a spoon. Remove from heat, incorporate the Dijon mustard, and season with salt and pepper to taste.
04 - Preheat the waffle iron according to the manufacturer’s instructions. In a large bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt.
05 - Add the beaten eggs, whole milk, and melted butter to the dry ingredients, mixing gently until just incorporated.
