14 - 2 tablespoons olive oil
15 - 6 tablespoons unsalted butter

→ Garnish

16 - 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese, plus extra for serving
17 - 1/2 cup reserved pasta water

# Preparation Steps:

01 - Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add bowtie pasta and cook until al dente. During the final 3 minutes of cooking, add broccoli florets. Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water, then drain pasta and broccoli and set aside.
02 - In a bowl, season the chicken pieces with Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.
03 - Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the seasoned chicken for 6 to 7 minutes, turning occasionally, until golden brown and fully cooked. Remove from skillet and set aside.
04 - In the same skillet over medium heat, melt the unsalted butter. Add garlic and sauté for 1 to 2 minutes until fragrant. Stir in crushed red pepper flakes, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, and lemon zest. Mix in chopped parsley and chives. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
05 - Return the pasta, broccoli, and cooked chicken to the skillet. Toss to evenly coat with the sauce, adding reserved pasta water as needed to achieve desired sauce consistency.
06 - Stir in grated Parmesan cheese until the sauce is creamy and well blended. Serve warm, garnishing with additional Parmesan, fresh parsley, and a squeeze of lemon if desired.
