# Preparation Steps:

01 - Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease and flour an 8.5 x 4.5 inch loaf pan.
02 - In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
03 - Using an electric mixer with paddle attachment, beat unsalted butter, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract on medium-high speed until smooth and pale, about 3–4 minutes. Scrape bowl as needed.
04 - Beat in eggs one at a time until fully incorporated.
05 - Reduce mixer speed to low. Add half the flour mixture, mixing briefly, then half the milk. Repeat with remaining flour mixture and milk until just combined.
06 - In a separate bowl, combine light brown sugar, ground cinnamon, and chopped apple. Set aside.
07 - In a small bowl, mix brown sugar with ground cinnamon for the topping. Set aside.
08 - Pour half of the batter into the prepared loaf pan. Spoon half the apple mixture on top and swirl gently with a knife or skewer.
09 - Pour remaining batter over the first layer. Top with the remaining apple mixture and swirl again. Sprinkle the prepared cinnamon sugar topping evenly over the surface.
10 - Bake in preheated oven for 45 to 55 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center emerges clean or with only a few moist crumbs attached.
11 - Remove from oven and allow bread to cool in the pan for 15–20 minutes.
12 - In a small bowl, whisk together confectioners’ sugar, ground cinnamon, and water until smooth.
13 - Transfer loaf to a wire rack and drizzle glaze over the top. Let cool completely before slicing.
