Caramel Pecan Chocolate Treats (Printable Version)

# What You'll Need:

01 - 55 soft caramel squares (roughly two 11-ounce packages).
02 - 1 tablespoon regular milk.
03 - 2 cups chopped, toasted pecans.
04 - Small amount of flaky sea salt, with extra for topping.
05 - 2 cups milk chocolate wafers for melting (best with Ghirardelli).

# Preparation Steps:

01 - Cover two cookie sheets with parchment and give them a light spray with cooking oil.
02 - Place bowl over pot of gently bubbling water. Combine caramels with milk, stir often until everything's smooth, taking about 10 minutes.
03 - Take off heat, fold in nuts and salt. Spoon tablespoon-sized dollops onto your trays, making around 30 clusters.
04 - With a fresh bowl over simmering water, gently melt chocolate wafers while stirring until they're totally smooth, roughly 3-5 minutes.
05 - Use forks to coat caramel clusters in chocolate. Put them back on parchment, add salt sprinkles if you want. Chill for 10-15 minutes till they set up.

# Additional Tips:

01 - They'll stay good at room temp for up to 2 weeks.
02 - Put wax paper between layers when storing.
03 - You'll end up with about 30 treats.
