01 -
Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a donut pan thoroughly with nonstick spray.
02 -
In a large bowl, whisk together all-purpose flour, pumpkin pie spice, baking powder, baking soda, and salt until evenly mixed.
03 -
In a separate bowl, blend pumpkin puree, brown sugar, granulated sugar, eggs, vegetable oil, and milk until the mixture is smooth and homogeneous.
04 -
Add wet mixture into the dry mixture and gently stir just until combined. Avoid overmixing to ensure a tender crumb.
05 -
Transfer the batter into the prepared donut pan, filling each cavity about three-quarters full. Bake for 15 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Allow to cool in the pan for 5 minutes, then move donuts to a wire rack.
06 -
Whisk powdered sugar, maple syrup, and 1 tablespoon milk in a bowl until a smooth glaze forms. Add up to 1 additional tablespoon milk if needed for consistency.
07 -
Dip the cooled donuts into the maple glaze and place them on a rack. Allow glaze to set before serving.
