Baked French Toast (Printable Version)

# What You'll Need:

01 - 8 ounces French bread (half loaf), cut into cubes.
02 - 1/2 cup butter.
03 - 1 cup packed brown sugar.
04 - 6 large eggs.
05 - 2 cups milk.
06 - 2 teaspoons vanilla extract.
07 - 2 teaspoons cinnamon, split.
08 - 1 tablespoon brown sugar for garnish.
09 - Optional dusting of powdered sugar.

# Preparation Steps:

01 - Warm oven to 425°F. Grease a 13x9 inch baking dish.
02 - Combine butter and brown sugar in a pot until fully melted. Transfer to your baking dish.
03 - Arrange bread cubes on top of the sugar mixture.
04 - Beat eggs, milk, vanilla, and half the cinnamon together. Pour over bread so every cube gets wet.
05 - Dust with leftover cinnamon and brown sugar.
06 - Bake for 25-30 minutes until it turns golden. Add powdered sugar on top if you want.
