Middle Eastern Meat Skewers (Printable Format)

Classic Lebanese grilled skewers crafted with seasoned ground beef, herbs, and fragrant spices. These simple kebabs bring authentic Middle Eastern taste to your table in only 30 minutes.

# Needed Ingredients:

→ Meat & Produce

01 - Ground beef, lean (600 grams)
02 - Medium yellow onion (1, cut in quarters)
03 - Parsley, fresh (1 cup, cleaned and patted dry)

→ Seasonings

04 - Salt (1 teaspoon)
05 - Pepper, black (¼ teaspoon)
06 - Seven spice mix (¼ teaspoon)
07 - Cayenne (⅛ teaspoon, add more if you like it spicy)

# Preparation Steps:

01 - Throw onion and parsley into food processor and pulse until they're finely minced
02 - Put beef, onion-parsley mix, and all your spices in a big bowl and work them together with your hands until well mixed
03 - Press meat mixture around skewers to create tubes about 1 to 1½ inches thick
04 - Place on an oiled grill at medium-high heat and cook about 4 minutes on each side until they're done inside

# Supplementary Details:

01 - Put wooden skewers in water for half an hour before you start
02 - Don't have seven spice? Just use allspice instead
03 - You can make these into burger shapes too
04 - No grill? Stick them in a 375°F oven for 15-20 minutes
05 - They'll stay good for 3-4 days in your fridge or 3 months frozen
