Set your oven to 350°F to warm up.

Put parchment paper on your baking sheet.

Blend together butter and sugar till smooth. Stir in the vanilla, then slowly add flour.

Sprinkle flour on a surface and roll dough until it’s about 1/4 inch thick.

Put jam evenly on the dough but leave some space near the edges.

Roll up the dough into a log shape, then chill in the fridge for 30 minutes.

Slice the chilled log into 1/4 inch pieces. Lay them out on the prepared baking sheet.

Pop them in the oven and bake for 12-15 minutes. Take them out once edges are golden. Let them cool on a rack.

Drizzle melted white chocolate over the cooled cookies.
