Heat your oven to 350°F. Spray a baking tray with cooking spray or cover it with foil to make cleaning up easier.

Use paper towels to dry the sausages, then fold a bacon piece around each one. Stick a toothpick through to hold it together.

Dump the brown sugar into a big plastic bag. Toss in a handful of your bacon-wrapped sausages and shake them around until they're coated. Lay them on your tray.

Sprinkle some cracked black pepper over your sugar-coated bundles.

Pop them in the oven for 30-35 minutes until the bacon turns golden brown. Want them extra crispy? Switch to broil for a minute or two at the end.
