Southern Pecan Pie (Printable Version)

# What You'll Need:

01 - 1 whole pie shell, unbaked.
02 - 1 cup of white sugar.
03 - 3 tablespoons of packed brown sugar.
04 - 1/2 teaspoon of table salt.
05 - 1 cup of light corn syrup.
06 - 1/3 cup of melted butter with salt.
07 - 3 large eggs, already whisked.
08 - 3/4 teaspoon of vanilla extract.
09 - 1 heaping cup of pecans, chopped.

# Preparation Steps:

01 - Press the unbaked pie shell into a 9-inch pan.
02 - Turn the oven to 350°F to warm up.
03 - Mix together the white sugar, brown sugar, salt, corn syrup, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla in a bowl.
04 - Spread the chopped pecans in the pie shell, then pour the sugar mixture over them.
05 - Loosely cover the pie with foil and bake it for 30 minutes.
06 - Take off the foil and bake for another 20-45 minutes until it's set and not too wobbly.
07 - Leave the pie alone for a few hours or overnight to cool before cutting thin slices.
