01 -
Combine butter and sugar in a large bowl and beat until fluffy and light, roughly 2-3 mins. Add your egg and flavor extracts, mixing till everything's blended smooth.
02 -
Toss in your strawberry jello powder and mix thoroughly until your dough transforms into a lovely pink shade.
03 -
In another bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt. Slowly add this to your pink mixture, stirring until you've got a soft, pink-colored dough.
04 -
Take tablespoons of dough, roll into balls and arrange on a baking sheet lined with parchment. Press your thumb into each ball to create a small dent for the chocolate later!
05 -
Slide them into a 350°F oven and bake for 10-12 mins until they're firm but slightly soft in the middle. Let them sit on the tray for a few mins after baking.
06 -
While the cookies are still warm, push a chocolate kiss into each thumbprint. Transfer them to a wire rack to cool all the way.
07 -
After they've totally cooled and the chocolate has hardened, sprinkle lightly with confectioners sugar to give them a festive, snowy look!
