Beef Orzo Tomato Cream (Printable Version)

# What You'll Need:

01 - 1 cup heavy cream.
02 - 1 pound ground beef (lean).
03 - 1 (14 ounce) can tomato sauce.
04 - 3/4 cup beef broth.
05 - 1 cup orzo, uncooked.
06 - 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (if you like spice).
07 - 3-4 cloves garlic, finely chopped.
08 - 1/2 teaspoon Italian herbs.
09 - 1/2 medium onion, diced.
10 - Salt and pepper, to your liking.
11 - 1/2 cup parmesan, freshly shredded.
12 - 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce.
13 - 2 cups baby spinach leaves, packed tight.

# Preparation Steps:

01 - In a large pot, cook beef over medium-high heat for about 5 minutes, letting it brown undisturbed.
02 - Mix in the diced onion. Let it cook for another 5 minutes. If there's too much grease, drain some of it.
03 - Toss in the garlic, Italian herbs, red pepper flakes, and orzo. Stir for 1 minute to bring out flavors.
04 - Add the tomato sauce, cream, broth, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix it all together.
05 - Once it starts to bubble, keep it gently simmering for about 10 minutes. Stir often to keep the pasta from sticking.
06 - Pull the pot off the heat. Stir in parmesan along with the spinach until wilted.
07 - Cover the pot and let everything sit for 3-5 minutes. It'll thicken up.
08 - Before serving, taste and add any extra salt or pepper.

# Additional Tips:

01 - Easy to clean up as it's made in one pot.
02 - Frequent stirring helps prevent burning.
03 - Feel free to tweak the liquid if needed.
04 - Perfect for a hectic weeknight dinner.
05 - Leftovers might need a splash of liquid when warming up.
