Give 4 jars and their lids a good wash in soapy warm water. Dry them with a towel.

Blend pomegranate seeds and strain to collect juice if you're using fresh fruit.

In a large pot, combine pectin, juice, and butter. Heat it up until you see bubbles.

Warm up the clean jars by keeping them in hot water.

Dump all the sugar in at once. Stir and heat until it bubbles again, cooking for about 2 1/2 minutes.

Take the pot off the heat. Scoop out the foam from the top layer.

Pour the mix into the warm jars, leaving 1/4 inch on top. Wipe the rims clean and secure the lids.

Boil the filled jars in water for 10 minutes with a lid on. Let them cool until sealed.
