Holiday Fruit Nut Sweets (Printable Version)

# What You'll Need:

01 - 600g mixed dried fruits (dates, raisins, figs).
02 - 25g diced candied ginger.
03 - 200g assorted nuts (pine nuts, almonds, pistachios).
04 - 1 big orange, juice and zest.
05 - 1 tablespoon brandy (skip if you want).
06 - 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon.
07 - 1/4 teaspoon ground cardamom.
08 - 1/4 teaspoon powdered ginger.
09 - 1/4 teaspoon whole caraway seeds.
10 - 1/8 teaspoon ground cloves.

# Preparation Steps:

01 - Mix the dried fruits with orange juice, zest and brandy. Let them soak while you work on the nuts.
02 - Mix spices with nuts and toast them for around 5 minutes. Set aside to cool down.
03 - Put everything in your food processor and pulse until you get a sticky mixture you can shape.
04 - Create plum-sized rounds and coat them in sugar. Store in fridge overnight.
05 - Add another sugar coating. Store in a sealed container for a few days to enhance flavor before eating.
