Garlic Cheese Filled Rolls (Printable Version)

# What You'll Need:

→ Roll Dough

01 - 12 frozen unbaked yeast rolls, thawed but still cold

→ Cheese Fillings and Toppings

02 - 36 cubes (1.3 cm each) colby jack cheese
03 - 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
04 - 1/2 cup (60 g) shredded cheddar cheese or colby jack or mozzarella

→ Herb Butter

05 - 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
06 - 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, finely chopped
07 - 1/2 teaspoon dry Italian seasoning
08 - 2 medium cloves garlic, minced

# Preparation Steps:

01 - Brush the bottoms and sides of a 12-cup muffin tin with melted butter, reserving the remainder for later use.
02 - Allow frozen yeast rolls to stand at room temperature for 15 minutes until thawed but still cold.
03 - On a nonstick surface, flatten each roll into an 8 cm round. Place 3 cubes of colby jack cheese in the center, bring edges together, and pinch to seal securely.
04 - Place each filled dough ball seam side down in prepared muffin cups. Cover loosely with a damp cloth and let rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
05 - Preheat oven to 190°C. Gently warm reserved butter until fully melted. Add Parmesan, parsley, Italian seasoning, and minced garlic; mix until well combined.
06 - Brush tops and sides of risen rolls with butter mixture. Sprinkle with additional Parmesan and shredded cheese.
07 - Bake for 18–22 minutes, or until rolls are risen and golden brown on top.
08 - Serve warm as a starter or accompaniment, with pizza sauce for dipping if desired.

# Additional Tips:

01 - Ensure rolls are sealed tightly to prevent cheese from leaking during baking.
