Preheat the oven to 220°C and prepare a large baking sheet.

Spread the frozen fries in a single layer on the baking sheet. Sprinkle evenly with seasoning salt.

Bake for 25 minutes or until golden and crisp, turning once for even browning.

While the fries bake, warm the chili in a saucepan over medium heat until steaming hot.

When fries are crisp, transfer them to an oven-safe serving plate. Spoon hot chili evenly over the fries.

Sprinkle shredded cheese over the chili-topped fries and place under the oven broiler for 4–5 minutes, just until cheese is melted and bubbling.

Remove from the oven and garnish with sour cream and chives or green onions as desired. Serve immediately.
