Effortless Pecan Pie Cobbler (Printable Version)

# What You'll Need:

01 - 1/2 cup melted butter.
02 - 1 cup of sugar.
03 - 1 box of refrigerated pie dough.
04 - 2 1/2 teaspoons of vanilla.
05 - 6 eggs, lightly whisked.
06 - 2 1/2 cups of dark corn syrup.
07 - Butter spray for coating.
08 - 2 cups of pecan halves or pieces.

# Preparation Steps:

01 - Turn your oven to 350°F to start warming it up.
02 - Spray your 13x9 glass baking pan with the butter spray so nothing sticks.
03 - Roll out one pie crust so it fits into the 13x9 pan. Patch up any holes just by pinching them together.
04 - In a big bowl, whisk together the corn syrup, melted butter, vanilla, sugar, and eggs.
05 - Toss the pecans into the mix and give it all a good stir.
06 - Pour some of the filling into the crust-lined pan. Lay the second crust on top, then finish with the rest of the filling.
07 - Pop it in the oven for about 40–50 minutes, or until the middle is set.
08 - Wait for it to cool down before you dig in.

# Additional Tips:

01 - Serving this is less messy than a typical pie! You can swap in light corn syrup, but the dark one adds a deeper taste.
02 - When finished baking, the filling should have a slight wobble. Cooling it makes slicing easier.
