Tangy Cranberry Orange Sauce (Printable Format)

# Needed Ingredients:

01 - 12 ounce packet cranberries, cleaned and drained.
02 - 3/4 cup (150g) water.
03 - 1/4 cup (60ml) squeezed orange juice.
04 - 3/4 cup (150g) tightly packed brown sugar.
05 - 1 teaspoon grated orange peel.
06 - 1/2 teaspoon natural vanilla extract.

# Preparation Steps:

01 - Grate the orange skin first, then squeeze half to get 1/4 cup juice.
02 - Put aside 1/2 cup cranberries to mix in later for some crunch.
03 - Mix the other cranberries, water, juice, and sugar together in a pot over medium heat until bubbling.
04 - Turn down the heat and let it bubble gently for about 15 minutes, giving it a stir now and then, until it's thicker and berries pop.
05 - Take off the heat, add the saved cranberries, orange zest, and vanilla. It'll get thicker as it cools down.
