Unroll crescent dough and separate into 8 triangles. Sprinkle each triangle with cheddar cheese. Place one hot dog at the wide end of each triangle. Roll up tightly toward the point.

While hot dogs bake, pour both cans of chili into a 9x13-inch baking dish.

Transfer baked hot dog crescent rolls onto the chili layer in the baking dish. Return to the oven and bake an additional 10 minutes.

In a small bowl, combine melted butter, garlic salt, and minced parsley. Immediately after baking, brush the mixture over crescent rolls.
