# What You'll Need:

01 - 1 1/2 cups plain flour.
02 - 1/2 cup cocoa powder (Dutch-process).
03 - 1/2 teaspoon salt (sea).
04 - 1/2 teaspoon baking powder.
05 - 3/4 cup softened butter (unsalted).
06 - 3/4 cup packed brown sugar (light).
07 - 1/4 cup granulated sugar.
08 - 2 egg yolks at room temperature.
09 - 1 1/2 teaspoons pure vanilla.
10 - 5 ounces cherry-flavored dark chocolate, chopped.
11 - 6 tablespoons cream (heavy).
12 - 1/4 cup cherry jam or preserves.

# Preparation Steps:

01 - Mix dry ingredients together. Beat softened butter with both sugars, stir in yolks and vanilla, then slowly blend in the dry mix.
02 - Divide into 32 pieces, roll into round shapes, press centers down, pop in the fridge for 1 hour.
03 - Preheat oven to 350°F, bake 8 cookies at a time for 9-11 minutes, press the middles again while hot, and let them cool all the way.
04 - Heat cream until steaming, pour it over the chocolate, stir until creamy, then mix in the cherry preserves.
05 - Spoon ganache into the cookie centers, refrigerate for 10-15 minutes to set.
