Set your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Combine flour, dark sugar, and soft butter until crumbly. Push mixture into a 13x9 inch pan without greasing.

Heat butter with dark sugar until it starts bubbling, then keep stirring for half a minute to a minute to get it thicker.

Put pecans on the base, then pour the hot butter mixture all over them.

Stick in oven for 18-20 minutes until you see bubbles and golden edges.

Throw chocolate pieces on top while hot, wait a couple minutes for melting, then swirl around.

Let everything cool for at least 30 minutes, then slice into 48 squares, wiping your knife between cuts.
