Put chicken at the bottom of a 6-quart slow cooker.

Scatter the ranch mix evenly across the chicken.

Drop in the cubes of cream cheese over everything.

Set it to LOW for 6 hours or HIGH for 4 hours and let it cook.

Tear up the chicken with forks and mix it well with the cheesy mixture.

Stir in the bacon, green onions, and 1½ cups of cheese into the pot.

Sprinkle the last bit of cheese on top, cover till it melts (about 10 minutes).
